I just booked with The Farmhouse! What are my next steps?Thank you for booking The Farmhouse for your wedding! Please view the attached document here for important next steps.
-
When should we reserve our date? Is it ever too late? Most of our couples reserve their date 9 to 15 months in advance - more notice may be required for very popular dates as they book up quickly! If you are looking to tie the knot even sooner than that, it's never too late! We can help plan your wedding up until the last minute, as long as we have your date open.
-
How much does everything cost? The total cost of your dream wedding at The Farmhouse varies depending on a number of factors including your date, number of guests, and selected menu/package. Please ask us and we can put together an estimate for your wedding.
-
Can we use our own caterer? Also, can we bring in our own alcohol? The Farmhouse wedding packages include gourmet food made fresh on site for every event! As such, we do not allow outside caterers. The Farmhouse wedding packages also include a premium full bar package for four and a half hours (closed 30 minutes during dinner). While you can't bring in your own alcohol, please ask us for pricing if you would like something that is not included in the package.
-
Are there any vendor requirements? We require all of our wedding packages to book a DJ or musician who is responsible for providing and setting up a speaker and microphone for the outdoor ceremony, as well as a separate sound system for the cocktail hour and reception. Check our contract for more detailed DJ requirements! Desserts by Dana and Cakes by Kim are the preferred bakeries for the included wedding cake. If you prefer to use a different bakery for your cake, we do not offer a credit but you can use the included amount towards other bakery items (cupcakes, dessert table, etc.)
-
We see you have guest minimums? What if we do not reach that number? The Farmhouse requires a minimum food and beverage dollar spend that is based on certain guest counts at our starting per person price. The guest counts vary depending on the day and month booked. If you end up being below the guest count for your date, then you can always select higher priced meal options, additional hors d'oeuvres, and upgraded bar options to reach the minimum dollar spend.
-
Are you LGBTQ+ inclusive?YES! We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable in booking their dream wedding at The Farmhouse! To ensure this experience, we only recommend and partner with vendors that feel the same way that we do about equality. We have also made sure that our contract and marketing materials portray the inclusion of every gender, race and sexual preference.
-
Does our wedding have to start/end at a certain time and when can we arrive?Weekday weddings must start at 5:00 or later with the exception of weddings in November through February, which are permitted to start at 4:00 or later. All wedding receptions must end by midnight, so the latest start time permitted is 6:30 for the ceremony and 7:00 for the reception. Our packages include 30 minutes for the ceremony and five hours for the reception (which will start immediately following the ceremony) - for a total of five and a half hours if you are having both at The Farmhouse. We also include an hour prior to the ceremony for your arrival and use of the facility, dressing suites and grounds - any additional time beforehand must be purchased for $150 per hour.
-
Who will setup decorations for my wedding? Are there any restrictions? The Farmhouse will take care of setting up most decorations for your wedding (with the exception of those requiring professional installation). Restrictions: Nothing can be hung on the ceilings or walls Candles must be enclosed in glass Alcoholic favors or decorations must be purchased through The Farmhouse No bubbles are permitted inside at any time. No glitter or confetti allowed on the property at any time. Use of sparklers is permitted but only with pre-approval by The Farmhouse If you choose to decorate the ceremony pergola/arbor, you must have someone in charge of installing those decorations. Nothing can be stapled or nailed into the pergola - everything must be tied on (we recommend zip ties!).
-
Can we include our dog in our special day?We welcome your furry family members during the ceremony portion only. We do require that someone other than the wedding couple is in charge of your dog(s) at all times. While we wish they could stay for the party, all dogs must be taken home and off the property after the ceremony has concluded.
